Vim :VSP $pathtofile

One of my favorite things about VIM is the :vsp command, which Vertically SPlits your terminal window into two panes and allows you to bounce between the two with CTRL+W h/l (left/right in VIM). Similarly you can use the :sp command which horizontally splits the window into two panes and CTRL+W j/k (up/down in VIM) navigate between the two. It’s intensely useful for coding, especially with HTML/CSS since you have to bounce between the files a lot.

Here’s a picture of my setup while working with Andy on a project.
